Salary
All salaried employees will now receive Flex Time Off which allows you to take paid time off as needed without a fixed annual bank of hours. For more information please view the Employee Playbook (Will link to the Employee Playbook in January).
MPSL
Mandatory Paid Sick Leave is designed to meet the requirements of the state and local paid sick time laws that apply to our employee population. If you are in an MPSL state you will accrue sick hours to use throughout the year. Accrual rate and caps, usage amounts, and carryover will all vary based on the state you are in. Hourly
You will get a bank of hours based on your years of service and whether you are in an MPSL or non-MPSL state. If you want more information, you can find this in the Employee Playbook. (Will link to the Employee Playbook in January when this is ready) Chart is below:

LeaveS
Unpaid Personal Leave
Time away from work without pay to attend to personal matters not covered by other leave options.
Paid Parental Leave
Up to 16 weeks of paid leave to welcome and bond with a new child through birth, adoption, or foster placement.
Caregiver Leave
Up to 2 weeks of paid leave to care for an eligible family member who is ill or injured.
Family And Medical Leave (FMLA And Similar State Laws)
Job-protected time away from work for qualifying medical or family reasons, provided under federal and state laws.
ADA Leave Accommodations
Leave as a reasonable accommodation to support employees with disabilities in the performance of the essential functions of their positions.
Military Leave
Job-protected time off for military service, training, or duty, as supported by federal and state law, including USERRA (Uniformed Services Employment and Reemployment Rights Act)
Prenatal Care (NY)
Time off for prenatal and pregnancy-related medical appointments and care, available to covered employees working in New York State.
Short-Term Disability Insurance
Employer-paid benefit that provides up to 26 weeks of income replacement if you are unable to work due to a non-work-related illness, injury, or medical condition.
Long-Term Disability Insurance
A voluntary, employee-paid benefit that provides continuing income replacement if a medical condition extends beyond the Short-Term Disability period.
Initiating A Leave Of Absence
If you know that you will need to take a leave of absence, please initiate your leave request with our leave administrator, Reliance Matrix, at least 30 days prior to your anticipated leave start date. If your leave is not foreseeable, please request the leave as soon as practicable under the circumstances.
Matrix will not be able to initiate a leave more than 60 days in advance.

Once a leave of absence has been approved, Matrix will relay this information to you and begin tracking the leave.
